About this Park
This 4,899 hectare provincial park is located on the west bank of the Fraser River. It provides good representation of moist hot and dry sub-boreal spruce forests. The area has high wildlife values and provides excellent deer and moose winter range. This park has good representation of moist, hot and dry, warm subboreal spruce forests. The Fraser River Park is part of the Canadian Heritage Rivers System.

Location notes
The park is located on the west bank of the Fraser River, on Highway 97 south, approximately 35 km from Prince George.
Activities
- 9795:Pets on leash Pets and domestic animals must be on a leash at all times and are not allowed in beach areas or park buildings. You are responsible for their behaviour and must dispose of their excrement. Backcountry areas are not suitable for dogs or other pets due to wildlife issues and the potential for problems with bears.
- 9795:Horseback riding Horses are allowed in the park but access is difficult.
